We are a volunteer organization made up of residents from all the surrounding neighborhoods. We have no funding, no lobbyist, and no political associations. We are Democrats, Republicans, and Independents.  We are old and young and we represent all income levels. We are a multi-cultural and multi-racial group who care deeply about our distinct neighborhoods and preserving the charm and character. We are not elitists, we are not NIMBYers (Not In Our Back Yard). We believe in small business, livable cities, good corporate ethics and smart urban planning. We believe Denver is a great city and we want to see it stay great.

Walmart is the antithesis  of our beliefs. We don’t believe that the city should help subsidize the largest retailer in the world.  It’s predatory business practices, unethical and often illegal employee relations, bullying tactics towards its vendors and negative impact on surrounding property are just some of the reasons we are willing to give up so much of our time and devote our energy to fighting this development.  If you agree, join us and help fight this newest form of urban blight.
